Wisdom and The Truth

Here is something for everyone to think about....

The following is an email from a Christian pastor and as I read through it I was reminded about the fool who says in his heart, "There is no God."

*********************************

During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who each explained their beliefs.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic had to say.

The Muslim gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.

When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Muslim and asked: Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven.

If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?' There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, "Non-believers!"

I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?'

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.'

He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.' I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine The Pope commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!'

The Muslim was speechless!

I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question:

Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?'

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.

Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the Diversification training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslim's beliefs.

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President!

Now can you understand the importance of listening to the truth? If you are a Christian can you understand the importance of sharing the LOVE of Christ with everyone you meet today?

Man's ignorance in thinking he knows all that there is to be known has always amazed me. True wisdom is gained from what we have experienced in life. There is nothing in this life that you can say for a certainty, unless you have seen, or experienced directly or indirectly that which pertains to your statements, beliefs, or faith. In other words, to say you know God dose not exist just because you personally have not experienced a life changing event is nothing less than pure ignorance.

Unrighteous Leaders ~and The Consequences

For those who refuse the truth of God Word there will be consequences for their sins. The range of this accountability will be great and most severe; If you live by the God's Law then you shall die by God's Law! "For the wages of sin is death..."Roman 6:23

God's Law tells us.
"Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him." 1 John 3:15
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Matthew 5:27-28
“‘If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death." Leviticus 21:10
"They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed .... and the land was desecrated by their blood." Psalm 106:38
There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness(AA) who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community. Proverbs 6:16-19

God's Judgment on Jerusalem’s Sins was spoken through the Prophet Ezekiel while in exile in the land of Babylon and I believe America's judgment will be similar. God is the same today as He was then, as He will be forever and ever.

Abortion is an abomination against God's WORD, it is the shedding of the most innocent blood of all. Anyone that sheds innocent blood is a murderer. Anyone who supports someone who has blood on their hands will also receive the consequences for this action as well. The judgment for murder by God's Law can be nothing less then death.
I will make one more attempt to clarify this statement. By God's Law if you support a politician who has innocent blood on his hands for supporting abortion, then I believe you yourself have received this innocent blood on your hands and the consequences can be nothing less then death. The Old Testament requirement for justice is "an eye for an eye...", but we now live in the age of the New Covenant, the time of Grace for those who have Christ as their Savior.
I am most certain this warning to America can also be extended to the one that supports the politician that supports the Gay Rights agenda. Homosexuality is sexual perversion and an abomination against God's WORD. Abominations against God's WORD can not be wished away. But God promises complete forgiveness of our sins once we sincerely turn from and forsake them. So, praise God they can be forgiven and your sins washed away by the the BLOOD of the LAMB, our LORD and SAVIOR, Jesus Christ. Once again I must make clear that while God hates abortion and homosexuality, He still has love for those involved. It is the action that is an abomination to the Lord and He holds us accountable for those actions. We must remember that all sin is intolerable by God and to compare the seriousness of one sin to another is simply an act of futility. If Jesus didn't die on the Cross for all sins, both small and large, then He would have died in vain. Thankfully that is not the case, His blood cleans us of all sin!

Simply put, Grace can be defined as God's unmerited favor. God's Grace is something God does for the benefit of His people because He loves them. Grace can never be earned, it's totally free. But please understand this, Forgiveness and Grace are not given so one may continue to sin.

The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.
Ps. 25:14 (NKJ)

Mohammed's Dreams

This is the first of 5 videos that reveals the transformation of a young man's life and his love for his Father. The videos describe their journey out of the Muslim faith into an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Man has searched the world over and even the heavens for the meaning of life. Yet as he stares into the eyes that look back at him from the mirror he fails to see the wonders of one of God's greatest creation. It is as if he is blind to the wonders of creation, for all of creation declares the Glory of God. And mankind is His greatest creation and He has breathed His Spirit into us and created us in His image.
The greatest evidence of the existence of God and His precious Son, Jesus is found within the pages of the Bible. Yet, when the Word of God is not available to us, it is also important to note that God, who is unchanging, still speaks to us through visions and in dreams as He did to the godly prophets of the past. God is good and compassionate towards us and it is His will that none should perish. Even in a nation where Christ is not honored as our Lord and Savior, God in His faithfulness jealously draws those to Himself who are truly seeking Him with an open heart. He will use whatever means and methods are necessary to accomplish this result. And the testimony shared by this young man Mohammed joyously demonstrates this to the Glory of God.

The Final Generation ~ My Redeemer Lives

This is the fifth and final part to this message.

There is not one of us Christians who have lived the just, holy and righteous life that God desires of us. Each of us have made bad choices in our lives. It's not so much the choices that were made, but our actions to turn those bad choices into valuable learning experiences, seeking forgiveness and hopefully reconciliation where needed that God desires. Mending broken relationships not only with God, but with family and friends who have built a wall of separation and protection for fear of being hurt again. This is where the faith we have meets the pavement so to speak. We either gain heavenly wisdom during this life's journey and mature as Christians or we don't and stay spiritual babies.

Speaking to a crowd on the mountainside, Jesus said,"For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." Matthew 6:14-15

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:18-20

Jesus does promise us, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:10 And again, "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me." Matthew 5:11
In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 2 Timothy 3:12-13

"He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time." 2 Timothy 1:9

You may believe whatever you wish, but if your belief is not in line with God's Word you will stand before the Judge, Christ Jesus one day soon.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus writes, For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2

I know for a certainty that my Redeemer lives and His return is near.

Thus says the LORD, “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." 1 Thessalonians 5
“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Revelation 22:12-14

To the Christian: The victory over death is ours and we are commanded to share the love of Christ, not tomorrow, for tomorrow may not come; but today and every day until our Lord's return. Share your experiences and faith with the lost, for this, I believe is The Final Generation and maybe even the final hour before the rapture of the church.

May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you.

Forgiveness For Who?

Here are three videos revealing the power of forgiveness that others have found. We all have a need to give forgiveness and most definitely to receive forgiveness…
I am just as much in need of forgiveness as the next person and maybe even a whole lot more so than you, the reader; maybe that is why the videos are so upsetting to me to watch.
In the first two videos we see lone survivors of families and even a nation that fines the rewards of the power of forgiveness for those who had murdered their families. It is hard to realize that someone who has lost their loved ones and many of their friends through such atrocities perpetrated against them that they could ever begin to forgive the murders. These people understood the power of forgiveness was more for releasing the anger and rage which they carried day after day inside them for the killers.

The word “forgive” is a grace word in the English, as well as the Greek language, meaning “to excuse for a fault or offense;” To stop feeling anger for or resentment against; to absolve from payment of an offense; “To remit a debt, to give up resentment or claim for requital, or to pardon an offense.” Understanding forgiveness is not easily done with words; it is what we all need in our lives, not to just forgive others, but for us to ask for forgiveness, maybe from a parent, child, friend, neighbor, stranger, but most definitely, forgiveness for our sins against the Holy One of Israel, the One True God.
The greatest offense was that of man against the Messiah, the murder of the Savior of the World, Jesus Christ. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." Galatians 3:13 Whether you want to believe this or not Jesus died for all of our sins, against man and against God, and yet after an illegal trial, a brutal beating, a scourging with whips that very few could have survived and then being nailed on a Cross and just moments before death, Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." Luke 23:34
First we all must understand that forgiveness comes from God. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:23 “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong” 1 John 1:9 If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared. Psalm 130:3-5

Christian forgiveness calls for action; our confession with God involves us seeing our sins as He sees it, which brings God’s forgiveness for us. When we sin against others, we sin against God. However if the true Christian in unrepentant of the sin the conviction of the Holy Spirit may bring the feelings of depression, anxiety, unhappiness, hopelessness and despair, so this is why we must be repentant and ask for forgiveness immediately after realizing our sin. When our sins are forgiven and lifted away, our heart and spirit are renewed with hope. “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalms 51:10. This renewal of our spirit is the blessing that comes with forgiveness. “Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.” Psalms 32:1.
An innocent victim who cannot forgive the offender will most always become filled with anger and rage for his offender. This anger and rage if not released through forgiveness can and most likely will bleed over into other relationships effecting job performances, social functions, and the most devastating of all, marriages, which effects parenting as well. The parenting and marriage breakdown will most often lead to divorces which in turn affects the over all function of our society. There is literally no end to the destruction that is caused just from the lack of forgiveness.
Being a father and being the blame for the destruction of my marriage this following video has been the hardest one for me to watch.
Please note the very last words in print on this next video, the last journal entry which 19-year-old freshman, Mary Karen Read made the day before she was killed in the Virginia Tech shooting.

I guess I can say that this verse is the one that opened my eyes the widest to how important this word, “Forgiveness” is for our lives. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:15.

Your forgiveness does not mean that the sin is excused, but it is acknowledged for what it is, a sin, and an unjust act against you. God did not excuse our sins; had He done this Jesus would not have needed to go to the Cross. The wages of sin is death, (Romans 6:23) and without the shedding of His innocent blood there would have been no forgiveness. (Hebrews 9:22). To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable, because God has forgiven the inexcusable sin that was perpetrated against him.
Forgiveness doesn't require forgetting; only choosing not to recall repeatedly the incident that required the forgiveness in the first place, while God works at healing your memories. The act of forgiveness on your part releases God to retract revenge from an un-repentant offender. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. Romans 12:19 However, it is very often where Christians can't or won't forgive which brings the anger and rage into play; of this I am well experienced.

In a post on June 20th titled A Supernatural Spiritual Event, I tell how I was given a vision that stopped me from murdering a co-worker. There are many who take revenge into their own hands, co-workers, angry neighbors, angry postmen, angry students, angry spouses, and angry parents. One of the smartest things that you could possible do is forgive and move forward, do not continue to live in the past where all the bad memories are.
God has not wiped out His memory banks concerning our sins; rather, He has chosen not to call them to mind against us again. I believe my sins are recorded in God's books, but over each one is written in bold red lettering, "Forgiven."

Sadly there are Many Christians who feel the shame of their sin so deeply that they have a hard time accepting God's forgiveness. In the post on July 21st titled, A Special Message I tell of a forgiveness message I had to deliver to a young lady. Marcy had thought for years that even though the Bible says, that God’s forgiveness comes with repentance, filled with shame and guilt, it was too difficult for her to comprehend that God could forgive her for the abortion she had fifteen years earlier. Far too many Christians, like Marcy was, have the same difficulty understanding this so they too carry the burden of their sins penned up inside which often leads to feelings of shame, inadequacy and unworthiness that will hinder the Christian’s growth. Well I should add here that there is not even one of us that is worthy of His forgiveness. We all are sinners, thus we all deserve death.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Forgiveness is not easy to give nor is it easy to receive, but with God all things are possible through Him who loves us. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
Forgiveness is not easily understood, but it has definitely made a difference in my relationship with God and with my friends. My best advice for one who wants or needs to learn about forgiveness is to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and open the Bible and get serious about reading it from cover to cover, over and over. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. 1 John 3:10
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9 We Christians strive to allow Jesus to shine through us, that others may see His love for them.
