Fetal Pain Law Called Historic

WASHINGTON (BP)--A new law in Nebraska could prove to be historic in the battle against legal abortion in the United States, some pro-lifers are predicting.
The Nebraska law -- the Pain-capable Unborn Child Protection Act prohibiting abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, with narrow exceptions, -- took effect Oct. 15
The law establishes a new standard in abortion bans: Rather than setting the benchmark at fetal viability, which can be 22 to 24 weeks, Nebraska's law utilizes evidence that an unborn child experiences pain at 20 weeks for its guideline.
Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, described the new law's enforcement as "a historic and celebratory moment for those who work to protect mothers and unborn children. This is the first time in history that a law recognizing fetal pain has been enacted. This new law represents the next wave of momentum for the pro-life movement and is a major step toward a post-Roe future.
"The abortion industry tries to discredit efforts like this because the concept of fetal pain destroys their strategy of depicting a developing baby as a blob of tissue," Perkins said. "Acknowledging the truth of fetal pain recognizes the truth that a baby is an unborn person."

It is irrelevant as to when the fetus can feel pain.... But what is relevant is that life begins at the moment of conception. Life is a gift from God and only God has the right to choose life or death.
Each one of us forms our opinions based upon what we have read, been taught or maybe just learned though our everyday encounter with others. I guess you have heard the old saying, "Opinions are like noses, everyone has one." But very few ever question the substance that forms those crucial opinions we have about the truth of God's Word.
With the computer today a person can google, "Life at Conception," and "Scientific Facts In The Bible" or click on this link at the right of this page and you can read the scientific evidence that proves the truth of God's Word.

Those who perform abortions and those who support abortion with either money or through legislation are covered with the blood of these innocent babies. There is no way that anyone can support the promoters of these atrocities and remain clean of this innocent blood on their hands as well.
Please let me try to make this as clear as possible:
If you support the politicians that support these atrocities even though you say you do not believe in abortion, it will make no difference; your statement does not cleanse you of this innocent blood.
It has been estimated that the fruit of your supporting actions still results in the slaughter of one innocent baby every twenty-one seconds or over 4,000 babies per-day. If you fail to see or understand the consequences of this horrific act of terrorism on these babies I am certain God will make it clear to you on your judgment day.
